Naughty Dog has posted a slew of job openings, announcing that it has started working on “something cool.” A total of 35 different positions are open, including even an online systems programmer.
Some of the open positions include a note of the team the new employee will be assigned to. For example, developers have been split into Game Team and Ice Team. An online systems programmer is required to work on the Game Team. This is probably the multiplayer mode of The Last of Us Part 2. Under the Ice Team is probably the team that will create mechanics and systems for the new project.

Neil Druckmann, who became co-president of Naughty Dog late last year, said that the studio has started working on “something cool” and encouraged people to join them. Gamers took this call skeptically, recalling that the studio has become famous not only for The Last of Us Part 2, but also for investigations related to crunches. “Who will go to you after this?” a Twitter user asked and attached headlines from gaming portals. One gamer quipped, noting that “Naughty Dog needs new slaves.”
